A Note From Our Founder – SUKI index
I grew up surrounded by women who revelled in the art of crafting and curating beautiful objects. In visit after visit to different bazaars, where my mother and grandmother carefully selected from a sea of lace ribbons, zardozi trimmings, and fabrics of every conceivable kind, I felt at home. The earliest seeds of design were sown—the way they visualised and brought garments to life felt like alchemy. Every detail, however small, was bestowed with profound attention.

As Indians, our accessibility to high-quality craftsmanship and fabrics is a shared inheritance, a wellspring of inspiration. With a career spanning over 10 years as a fashion stylist, I have been privileged to experience firsthand the revival of craftsmanship happening across Indian wear, and am now excited to craft my own distinctive imprint.

Much like the other women in my family, I believe in emphasising beauty and craftsmanship in occasion- and everyday wear alike. Through SUKI, I aim to introduce everyday pieces steeped in handiwork and meticulous design, featuring the most contemporary motifs but built to last for years to come. Welcome to my world. I appreciate you!
